Meanwhile, Nocona waltzed into their match on Monday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 46-41 W against the Panthers.

Nocona pushed their record up to 31-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points over those games. As for San Saba, their win bumped their record up to 32-6.
