While Wenatchee's victory against Eisenhower wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cadets 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since April 15th.

Adamarie Iniguez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lily Smith, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Sierra Cook, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Wenatchee's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10. As for Eisenhower, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Wenatchee nor Eisenhower have any future games scheduled.
