Chico entered their tilt with Maranatha Christian on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Kaycee Konopka paced Chico's offense, picking up ten kills. Konopka got some help from Lyla Taylor and her 13 assists. Amy Armstrong controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Chico's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Maranatha Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Chico has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Newbury Park on the 13th. As for Maranatha Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Calexico on the 12th.
