Soccer Game Preview: Octorara Area vs. Eastern Lebanon County

The Octorara Area Braves are taking a road trip to take on the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Octorara Area's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Octorara Area managed to slip by Donegal the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Braves came up short against the Indians on Friday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Octorara Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 458th, while Donegal are ranked 189th).

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Eastern Lebanon County finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to Lancaster Catholic.

Eastern Lebanon County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Octorara Area, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9-2.

Octorara Area suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Eastern Lebanon County in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
