Basketball Recap: Peaster Comes Up Short

Peaster lost against Eastland back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Peaster Greyhounds took a 47-30 bruising from the Eastland Mavericks.

Peaster has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-6 record this season. As for Eastland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.

Peaster will look to defend their home court on Friday against Early at 6:15 p.m. Peaster's defense has only allowed 24.5 points per game this season, so Early's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Eastland, they will venture away from home to challenge Comanche at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Comanche will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Eastland surely won't give up without a fight.
