Basketball Recap: Milford Christian Comes Up Short

Milford Christian lost against Hillsboro Christian Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Milford Christian were beaten by the Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders 46-13. Milford Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darby Yeager, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Yeager a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (60%). Another player making a difference was Emma Korte, who posted ten points along with eight boards and three steals.

Milford Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hillsboro Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Milford Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillsboro Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Ohio Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ohio Valley Christian sitting on four straight victories and Hillsboro Christian Academy on 13.
