Madison is a perfect 5-0 against Austin since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cubs will welcome the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Madison's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Austin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Madison came up short against Jeffersonville and fell 5-2.

Meanwhile, Austin made easy work of Clarksville on Monday and carried off a 12-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

The win made it two in a row for Austin and bumps their season record up to 6-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Madison skirted past Austin 3-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Will the Cubs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
