Volleyball Recap: Atlas Preparatory School Takes a Loss

Atlas Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the James Irwin Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Atlas Preparatory School ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Atlas Preparatory School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for James Irwin, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.

Atlas Preparatory School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against The Vanguard School on the 19th. Hopefully James Irwin paid attention to the Gryphons' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Gryphons at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
