Bishop O'Connell extended their winning streak to 16 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Caroline Semko. Bishop O'Connell was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Chelsea Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to Semko, who had 11 digs and two aces. Semko is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Bishop O'Connell walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Bishop O'Connell's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Chelsea Academy, they moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop O'Connell will host Bishop McNamara at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chelsea Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blue Ridge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on October 6.
