Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Harlo Sease and Mckinnley Beard Lead Andrew Jackson Academy to Victory

Andrew Jackson Academy won the last time they faced Jefferson Davis Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

While Andrew Jackson Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-23.

Andrew Jackson Academy was led to victory by McKinnley Beard and Harlo Sease. Beard had 15 kills and two blocks, while Sease had six digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Sease a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bella Carrigg, who had 24 assists and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Andrew Jackson Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Andrew Jackson Academy's record is now 7-1. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrew Jackson Academy will host Dorchester Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Curtis Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
