Basketball Game Preview: Winooski Spartans vs. Bellows Free Academy Bullets

Winooski and Bellows Free Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Winooski Spartans will host the Bellows Free Academy Bullets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Winooski is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-41 to Danville, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Bellows Free Academy lost to Williamstown at home by a 73-55 margin on Wednesday. The Bullets haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Bellows Free Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Winooski, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Winooski took their win against Bellows Free Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 65-45. Will Winooski repeat their success, or does Bellows Free Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
