The Wheaton Academy Warriors will head out on the road to take on Chicago Hope Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.
Wheaton Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Marian Central Catholic on Tuesday. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Hurricanes. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Carson Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on nine hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

Wheaton Academy pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Wheaton Academy took their victory against Chicago Hope Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
