Basketball Recap: Monroe Campus Takes a Loss

Monroe Campus lost against DeWitt Clinton back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Monroe Campus were outmatched by the DeWitt Clinton Governors and fell 65-19. While losing is never fun, Monroe Campus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while DeWitt Clinton is ranked 215th).

Monroe Campus has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for DeWitt Clinton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Monroe Campus will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bronx High School of Science at 5:00 p.m. As for DeWitt Clinton, they will challenge Lehman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
