Basketball Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

Kennett and Laconia squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kennett had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Laconia Sachems 56-17. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Laconia, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Coming up, Kennett will host Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laconia, they will head out on the road to challenge Kingswood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
