Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Durand). They blew past the Byron Eagles 18-3 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Railroaders in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Durand's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Byron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Durand will welcome Corunna at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Railroaders are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Byron, they will take on Chesaning at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
