Jason Holloway made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Holloway was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Abington Friends got a massive performance out of Jarius Ford, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jackson McWilliams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Abington Friends was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Perkiomen School hit Friends' Central with a five-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Friends' Central came up short against Perkiomen School, falling 14-4. It was the first time this season that Friends' Central let down their fans at home.

Abington Friends' record now sits at 5-2. As for Friends' Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Abington Friends suffered a grim 16-0 defeat to Friends' Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Abington Friends avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
