Soccer Recap: Meadville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Meadville has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 8-3 to the General McLane Lancers on Thursday. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Owen Shaw was handed one for Meadville, while General McLane got theirs courtesy of Giovanni Masone.

Meadville hit General McLane with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Graham Shellhaas, Kael Armstrong, and Jack Gunn.

Meadville's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for General McLane, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Meadville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 victory against Conneaut Area on the 4th. As for General McLane, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Franklin on the 6th.
