Softball Recap: Campbell County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Campbell County's offense. They came up short against the Halls Red Devils on Tuesday, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Campbell County has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Halls, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Campbell County will welcome Lemont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Halls, they will square off against Alcoa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tornadoes will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
