It was a good run, but St. Paul unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the South Pasadena Tigers by a score of 3-2.

St. Paul got a good showing from Troy Perez, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Troy Sibolboro made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for South Pasadena, their record is now 8-17.

St. Paul wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Serra on the 29th. As for South Pasadena, they will square off against Savanna at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
