Softball Recap: Paradise Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Paradise's offense. They came up short against the Colusa RedHawks on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the RedHawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Paradise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggiemae Stratton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Stratton's first of the season.

Paradise's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Colusa, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Paradise will challenge CORE Butte at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colusa will be paying especially close attention to the Bobcats' matchup: after the Bobcats faces off against the Lynx, they'll take on Colusa again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
