Basketball Recap: Plymouth Takes a Loss

Plymouth lost against Kettle Moraine Lutheran back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Plymouth Panthers were outmatched by the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers and fell 69-35. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Chargers are ranked ninth).

Plymouth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plymouth will square off against Menasha at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they will face off against Laconia at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Laconia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Kettle Moraine Lutheran likes a good challenge.
