Recap: Flippin Bobcats vs. Green Forest Tigers
The Flippin Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Green Forest 66-45. For Flippin, this counts as revenge for the 63-46 loss Green Forest walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Green Forest lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Brayden Compton. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Compton continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Zak Watson was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Flippin's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-10. As for Green Forest, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Flippin will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last five matchups. As for Green Forest, they will head out on the road to face off against Blue Eye at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Blue Eye's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Green Forest has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
