Basketball Game Preview: Rootstown Rovers vs. East Palestine Bulldogs

The Rootstown Rovers are taking a road trip to take on the East Palestine Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rootstown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Rootstown is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against John F. Kennedy Catholic on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Rootstown was dealt a 77-48 loss at the hands of John F. Kennedy Catholic. The Rovers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 83 points the game before, East Palestine was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They were beaten by Springfield 65-26. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

East Palestine has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Rootstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
