Baseball Game Recap: Shawnee Golden Eagles vs. Holy Cross Cougars

Holy Cross hit Shawnee with a 12-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Golden Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 19-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

As for Holy Cross, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season.
