Basketball Game Preview: James F. Byrnes Rebels vs. Riverside Warriors

The James F. Byrnes Rebels will square off against the Riverside Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. James F. Byrnes will be strutting in after a victory while Riverside will be coming in after a loss.

Riverside will be up against a hot James F. Byrnes team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. James F. Byrnes breezed by Boiling Springs to the tune of 72-27 on Friday. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Riverside faced Gaffney in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Riverside took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gaffney.

James F. Byrnes has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Riverside, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.
