Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). They claimed a resounding 89-42 victory over the Gateway Charter Academy Gators. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Gateway Charter Academy lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cason Hunt, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc to rack up 22 points. The dominant performance gave Hunt a new career-high in points. Trevion Gabriel was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Madison's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Gateway Charter Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will square off against A Plus Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gateway Charter Academy, they will face off against Inspired Vision at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
