Baseball Recap: Eastern Tech Continues Home Dominance on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pikesville, Eastern Tech was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Dulaney Lions. For the Mavericks, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Eastern Tech's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Dulaney, they moved to 10-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Tech will take on Perry Hall Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dulaney, they will square off against Hereford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
