Volleyball Recap: Kamiakin Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kamiakin proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hermiston Bulldogs 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Kamiakin got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 31-33, 25-15, 17-25, 15-13.

The victory was the third in a row for Kamiakin, bringing their record up to 10-1. As for Hermiston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kamiakin will square off against rival Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hermiston is set to take on their familiar foe Kennewick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
