Baseball Recap: Constitution Generals vs. Olney Trojans

Constitution fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Olney on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 8-5 to the Olney Trojans. Constitution has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Gordy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played.

Constitution will stay at home for another game and welcome Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Olney will take on South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. South Philadelphia will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Olney surely won't give up without a fight.
