A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Live Oak challenge the Corning at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Live Oak headed into their last game having not scored more than one goal for five straight, but Oroville let them put that streak behind them. Live Oak's defense stepped up to hand Oroville a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Corning hasn't lost a match since December 13, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They skirted past Las Plumas 2-1.

Alidio Diaz and Osbaldo Flores scored both of Corning's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.
