Volleyball Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short

Columbia Central lost against Western back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Western, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Manchester at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Western, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Lansing at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
