Volleyball Game Preview: Gilroy Mustangs vs. Lincoln Lions + Official Tickets

The Gilroy Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Gilroy got the win against Yerba Buena by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lincoln took on Prospect on Tuesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-10.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Gilroy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Gilroy came up short against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
