Basketball Recap: Wright Takes a Loss

Wright lost against Metairie Park Country Day back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Wright fell 56-49 to the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns.

Wright's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Metairie Park Country Day, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Wright will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covington at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Metairie Park Country Day will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Culver City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Culver City sitting on three straight victories and Metairie Park Country Day on four.
