Soccer Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin and Southampton combined for 13 shots on goal on Wednesday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Broncos fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2. Franklin haven't had much luck with Southampton recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Benjamin Harrison and Osman Munoz scored both of Franklin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southampton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Franklin and Southampton will both be playing Greensville County the next time they take the pitch. The Indians will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Broncos will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th.
