Volleyball Recap: St. Edward Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Edward lost against Timothy Christian back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Green Wave took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21.

Francesca Buono paced St. Edward's offense, picking up four kills. Buono got some help from Sam Pogorzelski and her 11 assists. Pogorzelski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

St. Edward has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Timothy Christian, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

St. Edward didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Chicago Hope Academy on the 9th. As for Timothy Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Wheaton North on the 9th.
