Softball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Randolph's offense. They fell just short of Pope John XXIII by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Rams' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Randolph's record is now 12-7. As for Pope John XXIII, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Randolph wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-0 defeat against Morris Knolls on the 12th. As for Pope John XXIII, they will face off against Roxbury at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gaels' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Pope John XXIII's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
