Masuk has gone a perfect 10-0 against New Fairfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. Masuk is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
Masuk is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Stratford with a sharp 31-5 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won eight in a row.

Ciena Perpetuo was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Grace Ely was another key player, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
Masuk always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, New Fairfield didn't have quite enough to beat Pomperaug on Wednesday and fell 9-8.
Gianna Garofola was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Callahan, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Masuk's win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for New Fairfield, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Masuk hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like New Fairfield struggles in that department as they've averaged .324. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Masuk took their win against New Fairfield in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
