Recap: Grand Ledge Comets vs. Freeland Falcons
On Saturday, Grand Ledge came up short against Freeland and fell 48-41.
Despite the loss, Grand Ledge still got an impressive performance from Elyjah Hendricks, who scored 28 points. Hendricks scored a full 68.3% of Grand Ledge's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Grand Ledge's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Freeland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Ledge is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Freeland, they will square off against Frankenmuth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
