Baseball Recap: Dow Victorious

While Dow's victory against Heritage wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers skirted past the Hawks 12-10. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Keegan Malley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Dow's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Heritage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Dow will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair will be back at it again later today.
