Preview: Alleghany vs. James River
On Friday Alleghany take on James River at James River High School at 7:30 PM. Alleghany come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Alleghany, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were given a punishing 7-49 defeat at the hands of Glenvar. Alleghany were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-49.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing two points in their last matchup, James River made sure to put some points up on the board against Giles last Friday. James River walked away with a 36-28 victory over Giles.
Alleghany took their contest against James River the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 42-14 score.
