Softball Recap: Dunellen Destroyers vs. J.P. Stevens Hawks
While Dunellen didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the J.P. Stevens Hawks 12-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Destroyers have posted since May 8, 2025.
Kyla Fucito and Savanna McCann did most of the damage at the plate: Fucito went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while McCann went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
