While Tularosa put up plenty of  runs on Saturday, the same  can't be said for Hot Springs. The Wildcats were the clear victors by  a  16-0 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Wildcats have won eight matchups by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Daniel Yuzos made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases and two  runs. He has become a key player for Tularosa: the team is 10-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 5-6 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Deon Bigas was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Hunter Sewell was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with four  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Tularosa  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hot Springs only posted  an  OBP of  .409.
Tularosa is  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Hot Springs,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-15-1.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tularosa beat the Tigers by a score of  12-0 later that day.
