Bishop Brady had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Conant Orioles with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering the Giants have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Payton Bryson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Archambault, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kimble Rose, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Bishop Brady pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Conant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Bishop Brady will square off against White Mountains at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Giants are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Conant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
