Volleyball Game Preview: Swanton Bulldogs vs. Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Spartans

The Swanton Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Swanton came up short against Perrysburg and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Swanton couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Perrysburg a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-8, 26-24, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Northwest Ohio Classical Academy entered their matchup against Anthony Wayne on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Spartans came up short against the Generals, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7, 25-14.

Swanton's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Northwest Ohio Classical Academy, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-4.

Everything went Swanton's way against Northwest Ohio Classical Academy when the teams last played last Tuesday, as Swanton made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
