Basketball Recap: Garden City Comes Up Short

Garden City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Farmington Falcons. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Garden City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Farmington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

Garden City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Farmington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-24 victory against University on the 28th.
