Soccer Recap: York Institute Comes Up Short

York Institute came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-1 to the Upperman Bees. York Institute have struggled against Upperman recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

York Institute's goal came courtesy of Jameson Wright, who's now up to 14 this season.

York Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Upperman, they moved to 2-10-1 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York Institute will challenge Watertown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Upperman, they will take on Westmoreland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upperman are facing Westmoreland at the right time seeing as Westmoreland are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
