Basketball Recap: Brynn Jones Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat SEED

Northeast posted their biggest win since January 9th on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-24 margin over SEED. With the Eagles ahead 27-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeast to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brynn Jones, who posted 14 points along with eight boards and four steals. Jones has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 26 times she's played. Another player making a difference was London Jeffers, who went 5 for 6 en route to 10 points and three steals.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for SEED, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast has already played their next matchup (against Arundel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. SEED has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Academy for College and Career Exploration.
