Basketball Recap: Little Falls Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Little Falls had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Herkimer Magicians, sneaking past 59-57. That's more bragging rights for the Mounties, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Little Falls' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Herkimer, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Falls will head out to face off against Utica Academy of Science at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Little Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Utica Academy of Science likes a good challenge. As for Herkimer, they will challenge Canastota at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
