Softball Recap: Middlesex Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Middlesex faced off against Edison on Tuesday. The Bluejays came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 on April 9th.

Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Edison, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Middlesex wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-11 victory against North Brunswick on the 29th. As for Edison, they will head out on the road to take on Monroe Township at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
