Basketball Game Preview: St. Edmond Gaels vs. River Valley Wolverines

The St. Edmond Gaels will head out to challenge the River Valley Wolverines on Tuesday. St. Edmond has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

St. Edmond is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 73-24 victory over Paton-Churdan. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Gaels with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, River Valley was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Ar-We-Va 58-29. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for River Valley and bumps their season record up to 12-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for St. Edmond, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
